This normally can be done within one day, so the time investment is minimal but the pay off is huge with a defensive driver discount.
• When does your age help give you auto insurance discounts - When you hit the age of 25 you could see decent car insurance discounts. However, it all will depend on your driving record. So if you a a student driver it would be wise to start being responsible now so you can save money later.

Some companies will give you a good driver discount if you have just one infraction. It is a myth that you have to wait for your current agreement to expire before you change companies.
